Calvin Johnson Jr. and Lindsay Arnold take the dance floor next, dancing the jive to “Good Golly Miss Molly” by Little Richard, inspired by the 1950s.

Carrie Ann Inaba says she “loved it” and that Calvin really made it his own. Len Goodman calls it “polished” and that he has performed so much since he’s been away. Julianne Hough calls it “a proper jive,” adding that she could go for a milkshake and a burger, given the theme. Bruno Tonioli praises his footwork. They score a 36.

It’s “Eras Night” and the dance floor is ready for a serious dose of nostalgia. The remaining couples will perform dance routines inspired by various decades to dance styles such as the Charleston, foxtrot and jitterbug. Head judge Len Goodman returns to the judging panel this evening. The first set of team dances also occurs tonight, with Team Past (James, Calvin, Ryan, Maureen) going head-to-head against Team Future (Marilu, Laurie, Terra, Jana). Who will come out on top? One couple will be eliminated at the end of tonight’s episode, leaving seven couples who will be preparing spooky performances for Halloween Week next Monday.
