Next up are Bonner Bolton and Sharna Burgess, dancing a rumba to “I Want It That Way” by Backstreet Boys.

Bruno Tonioli says some of his movements were jagged, but liked the concept overall. Carrie Ann Inaba praises their newfound dynamic and praises that they were so in sync. Nick Carter, Sharna’s former partner, says he’s very proud of what he saw on the dance floor and encourages Bonner to let go when he dances. Len Goodman praises his lines but suggests adding more fluidity to his movements. They score a 30.

According to ABC, in a little over a year, Bolton has gone from bull rider to fashion model. “He had been leading the PBR’s 2016 season opener when he landed on his head when dismounting the bull. He splintered his C-2 vertebra, was temporarily paralyzed and given a one percent chance to walk again. Following spinal fusion surgery and during his remarkable recovery, IMG Models signed the cowboy from west Texas for global representation, and he’s been featured in major photo shoots and ad campaigns.”

Now in its 24th season, “Dancing with the Stars” is hosted by Tom Bergeron and sports broadcaster Erin Andrews. The judging panel is composed of ballroom experts Len Goodman, Carrie Ann Inaba, Julianne Hough and Bruno Tonioli. Their scores, along with America’s votes, determine who gets to stay and who is sent home each week as couples vie for the coveted Mirrorball trophy.

The current contestants include Olympic gold medalist gymnast Simone Biles with partner Sasha Farber, Fifth Harmony’s Normani Kordei with Val Chmerkovskiy and this season’s Bachelor Nick Viall with new mom Peta Murgatroyd. The remaining stars include Heather Morris, Bonner Bolton, David Ross, Rashad Jennings and Nancy Kerrigan.

“Dancing with the Stars” airs every Monday night at 8 p.m. on ABC.
