Who needs traditional red roses for Valentine’s Day when a dozen delectable bacon roses exist? A restaurant in Chicago decided to ditch the typical flowers and candy gifts for bacon bouquets, the perfect way to show someone how you really feel.

Porkchop restaurant gave their customers the option to “say it with bacon” by offering bouquets with six or a dozen bacon roses. According to ABC7, the bacon strips are rolled into the shape of a rose, deep fried and then put on a plastic stem. They cost $20 for six bacon roses and $40 for a dozen.

According to Porkchop’s owner, people were quite impressed with the bacon bouquets. “We received quite a few orders,” Jovanis Bouargoub said. “People are actually impressed, they are loving them. And what’s not to love? It’s bacon.”

Whoever said diamonds are a girl’s best friend clearly never received an alternative Valentine’s Day bacon bouquet.
