Chad Kroeger Loves Haters

Chad Kroeger loves his haters and claims they’re why Nickelback is famous. The guitar player and singer owes it to all the people that hurry to turn off the song ‘Photograph’ when if comes on the radio, for the reason that it’s still on the air.

There might no band in the history of music that is bashed more than Nickelback. Critics tear them apart limb from limb in album reviews, rank them as one of the worst music groups of all-time, and question how Kroeger’s voice could pass for a record deal.

The Canadian band is actually hated worldwide. They’ve been booed off stage, heckled, and even stoned while playing.

Portugal did not want to hear any rock and roll, nor does London, where there’s a crowdsourcing campaign to have Nickelback never play there again. The name of it is ‘Don’t Let Nickel Back’, and Kroeger has responded to the campaign saying he “loves it”.

Chad Kroeger has this to say to all of his Nickelback haters:

“All these critics, they’re just tireless. They keep ragging on the band. If they had stopped writing all this stuff about us, there would be no controversy left in the band and we probably would have died out years ago. They don’t know that they’re still responsible for us being around today.”

And boy does Nickelback have some haters. These are some posts from Twitter today making fun of the Canadian band.

Kroeger lives by the phrase, “Haters make me famous.” This can be seen to be true since Nickelback has sold over 50 million albums worldwide, they hold a world record for the eleventh best selling music act, and they’re just behind The Beatles as the best selling foreign act in the US.

The best way to make Nickelback no longer relevant? Stop caring about them.

Chad Kroeger adores his haters, and if it weren’t for them giving Nickelback so much attention they wouldn’t be making music still.
