Bryan Cranston pulls off his greatest performance, since Breaking Bad, in a one-man baseball play about the MLB postseason. Coming off an Emmy win, for the AMC series, he searches for his ‘greatest acting challenge’.

Even if you’re not a fan of baseball, Cranston stars in an MLB commercial for TBS you can’t help but love. He channels his comedic chops of old, when he starred as Hal, the father in Malcolm in the Middle.

He gets inspired by Bugs Bunny, and plays more than just a game against himself. “Any actor who tells you he is not inspired by Bugs Bunny is a liar, frankly. Or just a hack,” Cranston goes on to say.

The combination of America’s favorite actor, and its favorite pastime, is a match made in YouTube heaven. Shot in a mockumentary style, he really does what may be his greatest acting challenge onstage.

Things go wrong in a hilarious fashion, like a ball hitting an audience member, and the organ player just being a up to the times on modern music. In a grand finale, he belts out ‘Take Me Out to the Ballgame’ in a must see spectacle.

Bryan Cranton’s one-man MLB postseason baseball play might be the most entertaining thing you can watch this week. Almost six minutes long, it could be a candidate for best TV commercial of the year.
