Bernie Sanders’s decision to purchase a third home isn’t sitting too well with some on social media. The Vermont senator purchased a $600,000 summer home in his own state. This is his third home.
According to Seven Days, the lakefront home is located in the Champlain Islands and will be used seasonally. Jane Sanders, Sanders’s wife, said in the Seven Days article that they’ve always traveled to the island for day trips. “We’ve been impressed with the North Hero community, eaten at the North Hero House and Shore Acres and have suggested them to friends who were looking for a beautiful place to stay or have dinner.”
Sanders and his wife also own a home on Capitol Hill in Washington D.C., as well as in Burlington’s New North End, according to the article. The former presidential candidate endorsed Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton last month.

I was a Bernie Sanders supporter and I have no problem with him using the money he earned fairly to buy an expensive house.
