This just in: Benedict Cumberbatch does impersonations. And they are glorious.

The 38-year-old English actor sat down for MTV to discuss his upcoming film The Imitation Game based on the life of famous mathematician Alan Turing. Though celebrity impersonations probably have little-to-nothing to do with the upcoming film, MTV asked Cumberbatch on the spot to mimic a dozen celebrity voices in just under a minute.

Not only does Cumberbatch prove to be incredibly quick thinking during the interview, he’s actually quite talented when it comes to impersonating several of his colleagues. So much so that he could join the ranks of Kevin Spacey in terms of celebrity impersonations. Yes, he’s that good.

Among Cumberbatch’s more accurate impersonations are Alan Rickman, Tom Hiddleston, Jack Nicholson, Owen Wilson and Michael Caine. He struggled a bit with Christopher Walken, but let’s be honest. Almost no one can do a really convincing Walken.

In other Benedict Cumberbatch news, the actor was recently formally announced to be joining the Marvel Universe, playing Dr. Strange in the studio’s upcoming Phase Three film. The Sherlock actor also stunned the world (and broke many hearts) just weeks ago when he announced his engagement to Sophie Hunter, but it’s how Cumberbatch announced it that was of particular note. He put a small notice in the “Forthcoming Marriages” section of The Times of London.
