Candles. Alcohol. Clothing. Fruitcake. What do these things have in common? They are just some of the presents that are most commonly regifted during the holidays. According to American Express research from 2014, three in four Americans said they found regifting socially acceptable. There are some presents, however, that should never be regifted and to celebrate the upcoming tradition, Twitter users shared the worst items to regift.

#BadThingsToRegift, which became a trending hashtag in The Katt Funny Tag hashtag game Monday evening, shared the worst possible items that a person could regift during the holidays. The hashtag game, which generated more than 5,000 tweets, included gifts such as Blockbuster gift cards, junk mail and last year’s Christmas cookies. Of course, many agreed that the absolute worst present to regift someone with is any personalized/engraved item.
