A former Senate aide has launched a GoFundeMe campaign in an effort to get tapes from Donald Trump’s time on NBC’s “The Apprentice” released. According to Aaron Holman, a former Democratic Senate aide, unreleased clips from the show could contain even more vulgar comments than the leaked hot mic recording with Billy Bush.

In the leaked footage from the 2005 interview, Trump says, “You know I’m automatically attracted to beautiful — I just start kissing them. It’s like a magnet. Just kiss. I don’t even wait.” He then proceeds to make more lewd comments about exploiting his power over women.

Those comments were responded to by saying it was simply “locker room talk,” even during Sunday’s presidential debate. In the statement, Trump said, “This was locker room banter, a private conversation that took place many years ago. Bill Clinton has said far worse to me on the golf course — not even close. I apologize if anyone was offended.”

Now, according to Holman, there could be even more footage from Trump’s “Apprentice” days that could provide evidence “that could be used to substantiate what many folks have always believed; that the current nominee for President of the United States is not a moral leader for us all to look to over the next four years. This country needs that person to come forward and ensure that we all know the truth that is out there,” according to the GoFundMe page, which has been named the Trump Sunlight Campaign.

Holman is seeking to raise $5 million for any legal fees that may arise from someone coming forward to release the tapes. Staffers say “The Apprentice” producer Mark Burnett had them sign agreements that would subject them to the $5 million penalty, according to The Wrap.

If no one comes forward or if there is additional money leftover, the campaign page writes that those fees will be donated to an organization that supports freedom of the press and journalistic integrity. The campaign still has a long way to go as they have raised just over $35,000 so far.

According to the Huffington Post, Burnett “has neither ‘the ability nor the right’ to release video or audio recordings” from “The Apprentice” and MGM is unable to because of “legal requirements.” However, the Huffington Post did release one transcript in which Trump comments on musician Emily West’s physical appearance. Burnett has reiterated again that those Trump tapes will remain confidential. A petition from MoveOn.org is seeking to change that and get them released. It has more than 100,000 signatures.

On GoFundMe, Holman says that if anyone has more unaired footage, he encourages them to come forward. In the latest update, Holman writes, “We must all remember that it is our responsibility to create the world that we all want to live in, and we must never stop pursuing that goal.”
