Candy and movies go together like chocolate and peanut butter. The duo is sweeter than the lines from your favorite cheesy rom-com and sweets are, without a doubt, a staple for any movie-watching experience. Whether you choose to sneak in your own snacks or buy candy at the concession stand pre-movie, candy sweetens up any trip to the theater. And now, thanks to a hashtag game on Twitter, even the movie itself can be just as sweet.

#AddCandyToAMovie, which became a trending hashtag in the HuffPost Comedy hashtag game Tuesday evening, combined popular films with sugary treats. The hashtag game, which generated more than 15,000 tweets, made movies sound even sweeter with combinations like “Deep Impact” and Peeps, “Children of the Corn” with candy corn, “City Slickers” with Snickers and “Saving Private Ryan” with Red Vines. Movies never sounded so mouth-wateringly good.
