Many television shows are winding down for the season, which inevitably means they will be leaving us with some major cliffhangers. For the time being, however, we can focus on what makes us love these shows and all of the crazy and funny things that will be happening during the show finales. (Contains spoilers)

Thursday, May 15

“The Vampire Diaries” (Season 5 finale at 8 p.m. on CW)

According to “Wet Paint,” there’s going to be some major tension between Bonnie and Damon, caused by the death of Stefan. Lots more is planned for this finale and it’s sure to be one you won’t want to miss.

“The Big Bang Theory” (Season 7 finale at 8 p.m. on CBS)

Okay, so you might need to DVR either “The Vampire Diaries” or this but both are sure to be great endings to the season. Most of the finale will most likely be focused on the repercussions from Leonard and Penny’s engagement. How will Sheldon react? Other key parts of the evening will, of course, focus on the other romances in the show including Howard and Bernadette and Raj’s new lady.

“Grey’s Anatomy” (Season 10 finale at 9 p.m. on ABC)

This is rumored to be a pretty emotional episode, so bring the tissues. First, it is Sandra Oh’s last episode. Also, according to the International Business Times, a “possible act of terrorism” will be throwing the hospital into “chaos.” The episode, I’m sure, will leave you on the edge of your seat.

Friday, May 16

“Shark Tank” (Season 5 finale at 8 p.m. on ABC)

You are sure to always find suspense in any episode where the sharks make deals with “hopeful entrepreneurs.” Mr. Wonderful always gives such unique advice to the entrepreneurs, as do the other four sharks on a given episode. It is always pretty intriguing to see the deals being made by the sharks for the entrepreneurs products/services. No doubt that the finale will bring with it some interesting people trying to make even more interesting deals within the shark tank.

“The Simpsons” (Season 25 finale at 8 p.m. on FOX)

Clearly, this show has been on for a long time. To shake things up for the finale, TV Guide says, “Home wakes up in a dream LEGO land…” Seems like an opening sequence for the show. A “Simpsons” episode in LEGOS? It seems as if a majority of the episode may be in LEGOS as well. It took a pretty long time to assemble and we’ll see if it pays off in the finale.

“The Mentalist” (Season 6 finale at 10 p.m. on CBS)

According to Christian Today, the fans will “receive closure” during this season finale. It also states that “feelings will be assessed” among Patrick Jane, Teresa, and Pike. The finale will also dive deep into brutal cases. We can’t wait to see what happens.

Monday, May 19

“Bones” (Season 9 finale at 8 p.m. on FOX)

According to Entertainment Weekly, this finale is going to be “explosive” and “the most ambitious action episodes yet.” David Boreanaz will be directing the finale so he won’t be as present and the “psychoanalyzing” Sweets is left in charge. This action-packed episode will be one to remember.

Tuesday, May 20

“The Voice” (Season 6 finale at 8 p.m. on NBC)

Which singer/coach will win? It’s all up in the air now so only the finale will tell. As for next season, however, two new coaches will be joining: Gwen Stefani and Pharrell Williams. Where will they take aspiring singers along side of Blake Shelton and Adam Levine?

“Dancing With the Stars” (Season 18 finale at 9 p.m. on ABC)

From last week’s episode, it would seem that Meryl and Maks are crowd-favorites for winning it all. They received a perfect score in both rounds, despite the difficult times that they had in rehearsal. Every dance couple left has been putting on a great show and it will be exciting to see which dance couple ultimately takes it home.

Wednesday, May 21

“American Idol” (Season 13 finale at p.m. on FOX)

It’s down to the final 3–Alex, Caleb, and Jena and it’s “up to America to decide.” Though this season has not been doing as well with ratings, it just celebrated its 500th episode. Again, it’s up to the votes so we’ll see who becomes America’s next idol.

Which show finale are you most excited to see? (even if it’s not on the list, let us know!)
