One tool which I have been using for years, is Animoto.
Animoto is a video creating tool that will limit your time by making a lot of editing decisions for you. It is one of the best automated video editing applications with such an easy to use platform.
This tool is compatible with iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch, Android and desktop. It also offers a plug-in for Lightroom which allows you to export your photos directly into Animoto. Although Animoto does charge a small monthly fee (£6.50), you can try it for free.

If you don’t have the time or money to spend on a high end video editing software, Animoto is a good, cheap option for small businesses. Wedding photographers in particular find Animoto a great tool as it allows them to use the beautiful edits, without spending hours of their time.

If you aren’t very technically-savvy, this tool is for you. You just need an understanding of how to upload images and music to pull together a professional looking video of your products/services. You should consider how long your video needs to be and what music will work best so that you can create your video in a timely manner.

I don’t really like Animoto, it does seem nice to begin with but I think it’s basically a glorified slideshow. Personally I use Shakr, I can do really cool videos for my clients that look like they’re done by a real video professional.
Animoto is nice for family pics but I think it can be pretty limiting. I started using WeVideo in college and have continued to use it at my company. I like that I can edit my video. Animoto does all the editing on its own so I can’t control what it makes.
