What’s your favorite keyword discovery tool and why?

1. Moz’s Open Site Explorer
Moz’s Open Site Explorer is probably the best tool on the market to compare keywords and links to similar sites. It’s among the most powerful ways to discover new keywords.

Equally important to a keyword discovery tool is how it’s used to manage and organize a campaign. One useful research tool we like is SEMrush, which provides users with top-ranking keywords that drive traffic to their site (and competitor sites), along with the number of searches done for those keywords.

Market Samurai is a tool by software company Noble Samurai, and it helps you find new keyword opportunities that will increase your traffic and dominate your niche. Most importantly, it helps you identify profitable keywords that will actually increase your revenue.

SEMrush is a great tool. It allows you to see who is ranking for certain keywords, suggests related keyword phrases and their search volumes and shows the competition for keyword phrases. Of course, Google Adwords is a keyword tool to help increase the amount of clicks and get more visibility for a campaign. Although it will be ending in a few months, the tool is useful to relate and target specific terms based off one that you enter.
