Welcome to episode 13 of the Creators Class podcast, the podcast that takes you into the lives of the most amazing creators in the world today, uncovering their new monetization strategies and learning more about how they’re carrying the creative flame.

In this episode, Nick Cicero and Nick Robinson interview Brian Fanzo, aka iSocialFanz aka Change Evangelist.

Interview with Brian Fanzo

Mr. Fanzo has quite the background leading up until his current role. He has a background in computer science and cyber security and found his first job at the department of defense. He found early on that he was really good at translating geek speak into language that leaders understand, and he found himself leading several training classes in South Korea and Iraq. From there, he shifted over to social business and community engagement, and he’s been in the space ever since.

As a result of cultivating community at IO, he realized what made him successful at his company. He LOVED helping people. And through helping people, he has amassed a large following of raving fans that will listen to every word he says.

We then shifted over to Meerkat, where Brian was conveniently live streaming the podcast interview on Meerkat. He explained that the power of engagement has made live streaming a natural transition for engaging with his community.

Now, live streaming isn’t for the faint of heart, especially corporate executives and politicians. This is why authenticity is at the heart of live streaming on Meerkat and Pericope.

We end the interview by talking about Mr. Fanzo’s work with brands. The key questions was: What do you look for when working with brands? Brian’s answer was simple. Brands that are interested in working with him need share his purpose and passions. If they don’t share those 2 things with Brian, he isn’t interested in working with them.

To become a member (or continue being member) of Brian Fanzo’s vibrant community, you can go to his personal website, and follow him on Twitter, Meerkat, and Instagram

GOAT of the Week

This week we talk about “Laughing Tom Cruise“. As you well know, Mr. Tom Cruise is a little bit of a nut job, or a devoted man to his religion. He started getting creepy when he confessed his love for Katie Holmes on Oprah Winfrey’s TV show in exhibit A:
