Mintable

Mintable.app released a product, Mintology, to enable free NFT minting with no gas fees – billionaire crypto proponent Mark Cuban also invested in the NFT tech startup in early 2021.

The star of Shark Tank has been known to invest in many upcoming non-fungible token projects and new NFT apps that could shape the industy, as well as being bullish on Bitcoin, Ethereum and DeFi in general.

In a March 2021 tweet @mintable_app commented:

‘Its official! Mark Cuban (@mcuban) has invested in Mintable & we are now proud to be one of the Mark Cuban Companies! We are super happy to have be supported by such a great businessman and forward thinker.’

Free NFT Minting

That investment by Mark Cuban appears to have paid off as it was announced in the second quarter of 2022 that gas free NFT minting on the Ethereum network is now available via Mintable, an industry first.

Mintable itself is an NFT marketplace and their free NFT minting service is the Mintology app.

Jason Sarria-Solis at Mintable commented:

‘Mintology is powered by Mintable, a leading mass-market NFT marketplace with a global presence. We are backed by highly prominent and respectable individuals, including industry leaders in software and technology, financial services and banking, venture capital, blockchain and film and the arts. In addition, we have a solid array of institutional investors supporting the rapid growth of our company, driven by the massive demand for our enterprise services.’

Their gasless minting API was in development since 2018.

Now when deployed in 2022 it could enable business to mint ERC-721 tokens on the Ethereum blockchain with zero gas fees, helping to lessen the environmental impact of NFTs.
