Irish Distillers Files Patent For Its Jameson Brand
Founded in 1966, Irish Distillers is an international distiller and distributor of popular premium Irish whiskey brands, such as Jameson, Redbreast, and Powers. Irish Distillers is a subsidiary of renowned French drinks conglomerate Pernod Ricard.
According to data submitted, the Irish whiskey distiller anticipates setting up an online marketplace for virtual goods, blockchain tokens, digital tokens, NFTs, digital media, digital files, and digital assets.
Moreover, Irish Distiller intends to launch online retail stores featuring virtual goods such as alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, food, clothing, footwear, headwear, and glasses in the Metaverse.
Irish Distillers has also showcased plans to offer entertainment services such as conducting actual and virtual workshops, education demonstrations, and short courses in mixology and alcoholic beverages.
Lastly, Irish Distillers intends to launch a reward program for all customers making online purchases of its virtual goods. The alcoholic firm anticipates using NFT functionality to process loyalty points.
