Today, yapAgame.com Inc. announced the release of its yapAgame – a mobile social media app for sports fans that works on iPhone, iPad, Android and BlackBerry Playbook. The formal launch is at this week’s SXSW convention in Austin.
yapAgame was selected by Northof41.org to attend the convention as part of a small group of promising digital media start-ups from Canada. They will be demonstrating yapAgame at the Old School Grill – 6th and Trinity – a few steps from the Austin Convention Center from March 10 and 11.
yapAgame lets sports fans connect and share their opinions about games, players, teams, coaches and whatever else they have an opinion on. Sports fans are a very active and vocal group on the social media networks. yapAgame gives fans a dedicated mobile social media platform that is free of all the non-sports noise that races through social media channels.
The free App for iPhone, iPad can be downloaded at the Apple store.
yapAgame for Android can be downloaded from the Android Marketplace store.
The BlackBerry Playbook version will available within a few days.
