Wishberg

Christmas is nearing. Wouldn’t it be cool to make a list of wishes that you would like Santa to fulfill. Okay if not Santa, then your friends maybe? Wishberg, the Mumbai based consumer startup that allows users to build and manage their “One Wishlist for Life” has announced the launch of its new feature Custom Wishlists & Personal Event Registry. This will allow users to create custom lists for specific occasions, events, themes or personal goal trackers.

The new feature, which has been launched on user feedback, will make sure that users do not worry about ever growing wish lists. Going further users can build custom to-do wishlists like New Year Resolutions, Places To Explore in India, Gadgets to own, Books To Read This Year, and so on. Users can also add target dates and have options to receive gifts and use Wishberg to build a registry for special life events such as Christmas, Thanksgiving, Birthday, Wedding, etc. and share with their family & friends to receive gifts of their choice.

According to Pravin Jadhav, Founder of Wishberg the new feature of building mini wish lists will help users to achieve for any particular event or a particular time.

How do you create custom Wishlists?

Log into the site and at your extreme right under your profile, click on ‘My Bucket List’. On doing so you would land up on a page which is about creating a registry for occasions, events, festivals and bucket list. Wishberg is suggesting over 20 unique ideas to build your lists or registry. Click on the one which tempts you the most, I opted for the My 2014 Bucket List – Things to do. Set a date for the list to be completed and once saved keep finding and adding new wishes. If those wishes should go into the bucket list then click on the registry button while you are adding wishes on the platform. I added some books to my reading list for 2014.

The last thing you would wish now is that your friends watch and fulfill the wishes if the list is related to a birthday, wedding, etc. Make sure that for this thing to happen you need to select the feature of friends able to contact you while fulfilling a wish as a gift while preparing lists.

The startup, which recently was in the news for raising funds from early stage venture capital fund – India Quotient along with a bunch of other investors, is also exploring various solutions to enable gratification of user’s wishes. Apart from the product the startup is looking for alliances where brands and service providers use Wishberg. One such initiative was Secret Santa, another one is Uber giving free rides to select users in Bangalore who want to explore the city. Such associations are more to come going further, said Kulin Shah, Co-Founder at Wishberg.
