By now I’m sure you’ve updated your iPhone to the new IOS 7 operating system. No? Maybe the bright colors scared you off, but what should bring you back around is the new camera app. There are several new features for the camera app that will surely change your mind about the new update.

Here’s a quick look at the new camera app features for IOS 7.

New burst mode

Allows users to hold the shutter button and take photos at the speed of 10 frames per second.

5 new filters

This means live Instragramming from your phone (only available for the iPhone 5 and later).

Swipe to navigate

Navigation is done by swiping between video, camera, square and panorama.

Zoom in with Video

You can now zoom in with a pinch of your fingers. Keep in mind that by zooming in you’re lowering the quality of the video.

You’ll notice that the options button that was previously at the top of the Camera app is no longer there. Instead you’ll see a toggle button that will activate HDR mode. The Grid setting is a nice touch too since it’ll help you to keep the photos and video composition just right.
