Marketing your business can be incredibly tough. You may even find that, after a few ideas have run dry, you’re feeling pretty stuck. Wouldn’t it be great to be able to find the one killer marketing technique that instantly gets you noticed? Well, there may just be something that could fit the bill.

Imagine having a celebrity endorsing your product. Or someone famous perhaps, contributing to your blog. This may no longer be the stuff of pipe dreams, because there is a growing industry that centres on the concept of celebrities becoming involved in the marketing of small to medium size businesses. That’s right, you don’t have to be a huge corporation any more to utilise the magic of celebrity endorsement.

One big way to get fast money in this regard is to look for some celebrity investment. This is not as far-fetched as it sounds. There have been many examples in recent times of young and fashionable companies finding celebrities who will bring investment in return for equity in the company. This works both ways, as a celebrity endorses a product, say a skateboard for example, and the company reaps the benefit of investment that they can spend on marketing and advertising.

Link to a charitable cause, and do some good too

On a smaller level you could align your company with a charitable cause. This involves picking a charity that is in sync with your own beliefs and principles, and has some kind of connection to the product or service that you offer. If you create a food item, for example, you could work with a charity to donate money to people in need of basic items like food. This works on a number of levels, not least the ability to do some good in the world. It also enhances your business (and the further good you can do) if you’re able to find a celebrity who is willing to endorse your product and the charity.

Finally, you can approach specialist companies that can give you direct access to the agents of celebrities. This cuts out the hard work involved in finding contact details for celebrities and their agents. If you have an idea to pitch to a celebrity, knowing the agent details can save massive amounts of time.  It’s becoming a huge industry, and many companies are finding that it is an inexpensive way of making a connection that could bring huge benefits.

You could, of course, try the old-fashioned method of stalking a celebrity. However, we don’t recommend that. It never ends well.
