DM News reports this morning that List Services has acquired Accession Media, and they will rebrand to become Allora Media.
Why does this matter to conversion afficinados? It matters a lot. It seems this particular acquisition was driven from the need to provide landing page optimization services:
[Joe] McCluskey said his company’s management began to consider turning List Services into a full-service agency after “quite a few email marketing clients” asked why the firm wasn’t responsible for optimizing the landing pages that consumers were driven to from its email campaigns.
It’s exciting to hear post-click optimization driving a shift at a direct marketing firm like List Services, and it’s even more exciting that this shift was born of client demand! Good luck to the new Allora Media—with their emphasis on landing page optimization, I hope to count them as a LiveBall customer soon.
