We Need More Leaders

It is impossible to teach someone else to be a leader. You can provide them with the opportunity to learn new skills, adopt new tools and techniques coupled with information for personal growth. That said, real leadership is a decision of the heart. Authentic leaders posses an overwhelming desire to serve and help other people grow.

We cannot make a plant grow as it does that by itself. Although we can certainly water it, clear away the weeds and provide some fertilizer.

If you happen to be wondering whether I might be referring to you or someone like you then I suggest that you please raise your right arm and step forward. The world needs a few more authentic voices in the world committed to making a difference in their communities, at home, work and in our schools.
