There are lots of amazing stories and customer tales about how brilliantly effective SMS marketing is for businesses. SMS marketing can return those responses that every business has been dreaming of, with it’s massive open rates and huge repose rates – SMS marketing is one of, if not thee most effective marketing channel around today.

Ofcom have recently researched and reported on our relationship with our mobile phones, and their conclusion is… We are all addicted to our mobile phones! Our love for our mobile phones is an addiction. Like a new family member, or a new puppy… We love it, hold it and take it everywhere with us. We take it to bed, to the toilet and on holiday with us.
All the love and addiction for our mobile phones is exactly why SMS marketing is proving so effective as a marketing channel. Not only is it the device we want to communicate through, but SMS is also the easiest, quickest and most convenient way to communicate through it.
Ian Macrae, Ofcom’s director of market intelligence, said:
“Over the last decade, people’s lives have been transformed by the rise of the smartphone, together with better access to the internet and new services. Whether it’s working flexibly, keeping up with current affairs or shopping online, we can do more on the move than ever before.”
