Around August last year, I wrote a blog on image sizes for social media profiles and since then things have changed (as social media does) and I wanted to make sure you know what size images you should be creating to build a consistent business presence online for Facebook, Twitter, Google+, LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram and Pinterest.
UPDATE: Facebook haven’t only changed their dimensions, they only allow users to chat with their contacts via the messenger app only. Gone are the days of needing just one Facebook app, now you are forced to use two.
UPDATE: Twitter have completely changed profile pages for users, allowing for a more visual experience.
Google+
YouTube
UPDATE: Did you know that you can actually post images to your instagram account from your desktop computer? Here’s how.
UPDATE: Pinterest have now introduced their “Guided Search” giving users a more extensive search field
It is so important that you follow the above guides to get the right sized images because if your social media appearance looks messy your potential customers will automatically let this affect their overall opinion of your business.
