I hate to admit it, but I fall into the category of the person whose only experience watching “racing sports” came at the hands of the brutally ridiculous scene at the beginning of Final Destination 4. If it wasn’t for this infographic explaining that professional racing is actually made up of two big sports, NASCAR and Formula One, I’d be clueless.
My assumption is that I can’t be the only person on the world that didn’t know this, and I’m going to assume this Red Bull-branded visual hopes to reach out to folks like me and teach me about both sports in a nutshell. Apparently Nascar cars are cheaper, on average than Formula One vehicles, and 50 drivers take part in a Nascar Sprint Cup, while only 24 participate in a Formula One race. Who woulda thunkit?
