Happy Valentine’s Day – the good news is if you are in a relationship it will likely make it through this month, according to Facebook.
Facebook data scientists analyzed the relationship statuses of US Facebook Users from 2008 to 2011. The study included only relationships lasting at least 3 months, Users 23 years or older and only included “single” people, not “married.”
Turns out Facebook can tell you whether or not a relationship will go the distance.
Facebook can’t tell you exactly when your relationship will end or how long it will last, it can predict that the longer you have been with your significant other the more likely it is you will stay together. Break-Ups tend to peak in the Summer months and dip during Valentine’s Day.
So, even if you have not been with your partner very long as of today – chances are your relationship will make it through your Valentine’s Dinner!
