Today I have an infographic from a UK based internet service provider called Eclipse Internet all about the growth of cloud computing.
The 1st part of the infographic is about the growth of cloud computing, from its initial inception in 2008 to the widespread adoption we see today. There is a chart that shows that in 2008 the cloud computing industry was estimated to be worth $46 billion and in 2014 it is estimated to be worth more than $150 billion.
The 2nd section teaches us that 75% of the people that Forbes surveyed, used some form of cloud computing platform for various things and that the most used cloud computing platforms are Google, Microsoft and Amazon.
Next up we have information about the future of cloud computing including statistics, like more than 50% of all information technology will be in the cloud within the next 5-10 years.
Finally there is a graph that shows which types of data are most commonly stored on the cloud including notes and research, music, addresses and more.
Here is the infographic people, enjoy and let me know what you think on Facebook or Twitter.
