TV audience has been decreasing steadily in recent years, reaching an all time low presently as online viewing continues to eat into the live TV business. The cable TV business had its worst year ever in 2013, and both cable and broadcast TV have seen negative ratings growth since 2011. I couldn’t be more happy. ater 10 years od Direct Tv . Their pushy phone reps. and their high cost of programing . We went back to a antenna get our local channels , News , at no cost. this is saving us $ 100.00 a month. All my sons have done this also. I wish everyone would do it. Way too much money for whatyou get. the only thing we miss is our sports team in play offs. But if these guys go broke maybe we’ll get to see them again on our Local ,Free , T.V
