According to recent infographic by on E-commerce industry in Asia – 36.2% of Worldwide E-commerce B2C sales will come from Asia-Pacific in 2014  and is estimated to reach 39.7% by 2016. By Country, China is the  biggest online spender in Asia and accounts for  Six out of every 10 dollars spent online in Asia.

Usage of mobile devices is more in Asia- 74% of online shoppers in China claim to use smartphones for price comparison as compared to global average of 43%. 37% of people surveyed were more likely to purchase goods using mobile devices as compared to global average of 26%.

Consumer electronics (69%) is the most purchased category online followed by Books ( 67%) , Clothing & Apparel (63%) and household goods ( 38%)
