Today I have a really good infographic about Christmas shopping, from the UK based online store: Amara.
The 1st part of the infographic is a graph showing the most popular Christmas gifts of all time. The top 3 gifts featured are: Bratz dolls – 125 million sold, Pogs – 350 million sold and Pokemon – sales worth 1 billion dollars.
Next up we have the average family Christmas spend by country. The 5 countries that spend the most on Christmas presents are the United States – £435, South Africa – £487, United Kingdom – £543, Spain – £571 and topping the chart is Finland at £626.
The 3rd section is all about Christmas spending in the United Kingdom and it provides a few statistics like, 92% of the people in the UK spend money on Christmas presents. There is also information about how much different age groups spend – according to the infographic younger adults spend the most.
The final bit of the infographic shows a selection of luxury Christmas gifts that only very rich people could afford to buy. Some of the gifts featured are the Van Cleef & Arpels watch set which costs just over 1 million dollars, a private dinner for 10 with personal chefs that costs a quarter of a million dollars and a play with the Harlem Globetrotters voucher for 65 grand.
Please let me know what you are hoping to get this Christmas by leaving a comment or by posting on Facebook, Twitter or Google plus. Here is the infographic people, enjoy!
