John Lawson is one of the most successful eCommerce professionals ever with over $25 million in sales on eBay and Amazon. This immensely likeable man will tell you that today’s eCommerce platforms have expanded the playing field for those with the desire to make money and the ingenuity to make it happen. Whether it is last year’s bathing suits purchased at a heavily discounted Macy’s sale and later sold on eBay or a guess on this year’s hot Christmas item, eCommerce is highly democratic. That was a good thing for John whose limited education (GED and a few college credits) and dislike of working for others led this former IT professional at Accenture to a booming career as an entrepreneur selling books and rebated products on eBay.

He is now a sought after speaker and upcoming author who sells a million dollars worth of shoelaces a year.

“Money does grow on trees” says John, “you just have to know where to look for the trees” he adds. This CareerFuel video gives you a few ideas to get you started.
