When you’re pounding the pavement looking for a job, it always helps to know which companies in your field are hiring. And when you’re trying to find a flexible job, it can add an extra layer to your job search, since you not only have to determine which companies have posted positions, but also ascertain if those jobs are being offered with the type of workplace flexibility you need. Whether it’s the ability to work remotely, have a flexible schedule, or even work part-time, not all companies are created equal.

In order to figure out which companies have historically offered the most flexible job opportunities (and that are, in theory, likely to continue offering flexible jobs), FlexJobs analyzed over 40,000 companies in its database. From those 40,000 companies, it found the top 250 companies that offered the most flexible job postings from October 1, 2013, through October 1, 2016.

What Are Flexible Jobs, and Which Careers Have Them?

And since “flexible” can mean different things to different people, FlexJobs defines a flexible job as one that is a professional-level job that has some sort of a telecommuting, part-time, flexible schedule, or freelance component to it.

But if you thought you’d find companies offering only low-level gigs, think again. The FlexJobs 250 list features companies that are hiring for entry-level positions right up to executive-level jobs—and all are flex-friendly.

Flexible work has been growing in recent years. FlexJobs reported a 75 percent increase in the number of flexible jobs on its site between 2013 and 2016. And a Time.com article found that the fastest-growing fields for flexible jobs include government and politics, engineering, project management, communications, and travel and hospitality.

Some of the top fields that are represented by the companies featured in the FlexJobs 250 list include:

  1. Medical and health
  2. HR and recruiting
  3. Computer and IT
  4. Education and training
