Synacor made it to the IPO, but the dollars were a bit lower than anticipated. The company sought to raise between $75 mn and $94 mn. But when it went public last Friday, it sold 6.82 mn shares at $5 each, raising $34.1mn in capital. Syancor‘s original price range was $10 to $12, but the company scaled it back to $5 to $6 before the IPO. Of the shares sold, 1.4 mn came from existing shareholders, with company directors and senior executives accounting for 637,000 of them.
