Mark Zuckerberg, CEO, Facebook

So far, everyone’s been focused on the big numbers associated with the Facebook IPO: $10 bn capital raise and $100 bn valuation. Well, there’s another one worth looking at: Mark Zuckerberg’s valuation.

According to the Huffington Post, the founder and CEO of Facebook is set to hit a personal net worth of $24 bn if the company goes public with a $100 bn IPO. He is only 27 years old.

Of course, it isn’t a sure thing yet. The company will still have to maintain its market cap after it goes public, and we’ll get a better sense of how realistic that is when Facebook files its S-1. Given its revenue situation now – and revealed product pipeline – I’m not as bullish on Facebook as many IPO-watchers are.
