The internet has a lot of feelings about Nordstrom’s new Topshop “Clear Knee Mom Jeans” that feature two plastic panels perfect for showing off your…knees? That’s right, in the latest fashion trend that no one asked for, the $95 high-waist jeans show off those picture perfect patellas.

According to the product’s description, the “slick plastic panels bare your knees for a futuristic feel”—clearly the effect that everyone goes for when shopping for their next pair of jeans. Social media users wondered whether the jeans were actually an early April Fool’s Day prank while others pointed out that they were far from the first odd product that has featured. Topshop also sells a tulle overlay denim skirt and tulle skirt jeans. Additionally, the internet had a lot of questions when Nordstrom unveiled their $85 leather-wrapped stone last year. Seriously.

While the “Clear Knee Mom Jeans” sparked plenty of conversation on social media, the real winners of the internet’s latest weird trend were the customer reviews (or trolling). “I love my distressed jeans that expose my knees, but I’ve been praying for a pair of jeans that are a little more modest in the knee area,” one reviewer wrote. “I can’t believe that my prayers have been answered! These jeans are heaven sent.” Another, titled “Da Bombdity,” said:

The awesomeness of these jeans can not be confined to mere words on a page. Where else can I see my knees while wearing pants? I have amazing knees and always get compliments. Sometimes it’s too cold for shorts and these are perfect. Where have see through jeans been all my life?
