Do you hate the My Birthday Calendar app as much as I do? I receive multiple requests from the annoying My Birthday Calendar app every day. Additionally, there were rumors saying this app was malicious, however, CNN published an article stating that the My Birthday Calendar app is harmless and Snopes.com confirmed it as well. Either way, we’re here to show you how to block My Birthday Calendar on Facebook similar to the way we did with BranchOut last year.
How to Block My Birthday Calendar on Facebook
Step One
Click the gear icon on the top of your Facebook Page and select Privacy Settings
Step Two
Select “Blocking” from the column of commands on the left hand side of the screen

Scroll down to the bottom of the next screen until you reach the Block Apps Section. Start typing My Birthday Calendar in the text book. When the pesky app shows up, click on it and it will be added to your list of blocked apps on Facebook.
You can thank me later for all the free time you’ll have now that you’re no longer receiving those pesky My Birthday Calendar app requests on Facebook. Please note that you can block all applications on Facebook with the above method. I have 132 blocked applications to date. I can’t stand receiving Farmville, BranchOut or anything else. I did have a quick stint with Bejeweled but that was long ago when I had free time!
