Among the complaints about Facebook’s new “Timeline” format, there are a couple creative people taking advantage of the new features, including the main profile picture and banner.
A quick look through some of the biggest brands in the world shows that many are not taking advantage of these features. Most have a unique profile picture and banner, but how come they aren’t creatively all working together to make something really visually appealing?
To show you what we mean, we have inserted a few examples below. As you can see, creative minds are combining the profile pics and banners to create a more universal theme. Note: These are not brand pages, but rather individual profiles. If brands were smart, they would start thinking about this format.
