Those same friends probably missed this while signing into Facebook today...
Notice “Sign Up – It’s free and always will be.” on the Facebook login screen?
It seems like every few weeks a ridiculous status update about Facebook charging goes viral even though you will NEVER have to pay a membership fee to use Facebook; not today, not tomorrow, not ever.
If your friends don’t believe you or get duped into sharing a status like the one above, simply tell your friends to “Log Out” of Facebook and they can see the statement from Facebook on the login screen.
