Here is a unique and fun way at comparing and contrasting popular superheroes and villains, by the qualities of their skin! The breakdown shows the strengths and weaknesses of eight popular comic book characters, and is a great way to get some in depth information to the average fan, without having to comb through thousands of comic books.
A lot of this information is common knowledge, like the Hulk can withstand all modern day artillery, but some of it isn’t, like Wolverine can have his skin burnt off to the point of no regeneration!
Starting with Superman, his skin is near impenetrable, but who knew of the existence of red, gold, and blue Kryptonite? Speaking of Superman, Doomsday ability to develop a counter method to whatever killed him, making him more difficult to kill each time, is daunting. Doomsday is the villain who killed Superman in 1992. The event was widely covered by national and international news, with a film being released in 2007.
Moving on to Wolverine, the bit about him being subject to manipulation is a reference to Magnito. I’m not sure how the fact that Wolverine can drown is related to his skin in anyway, but it’s useful information to have nonetheless. Luke Cage might be the least known character on the list to the average movie goer, but he has actually been a member of the Avengers a few times! I found the the part about surgery being difficult to perform on him hilarious, wouldn’t that apply to Superman, The Thing and Hulk also?
