Prince William and his wife Kate Middleton are expecting their second child in April 2015. The baby will be fourth in line to take over the British throne.

A statement from the couple’s official residence, Kensington Place, said, “Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted to confirm they are expecting a baby in April 2015.”

In the meantime, Kate Middleton will make her first public appearance in two months when she attends a ceremony on Tuesday that honors Singapore President Tony Tan.  Middleton last attended a ceremony at the Tower of London on August 5 in honor of World War I victims.

After announcing the pregnancy last month the couple were forced to cancel several outings, including a trip to Malta that was meant to mark their first solo foreign tour.

Prince George was born just over one year ago and Queen Elizabeth says she is “delighted” to be welcoming another Royal to the family.

News of the babies arrival will begin to heat up in the new year. Middleton, born a “commoner,” has transitioned very well into her new role, becoming very popular among Britain’s citizens. Her popularity arrives despite the fact that William and his wife have attempted to keep their family life private to avoid the pitfalls his mother, Princess Diana, experienced during her life and tragic death in Paris in 1997.

Earlier in the month the couple sent a legal warning letter to a photographer who was attempting to grab photos of Prince George. The legal letter claimed that the photographer was engaging in “surveillance” which forced them to “remove” George from their daily routines.

Get ready because Royal baby rumors and news are about to heat up.
