Paula Patton Divorcing Robin Thicke; Already Dating Zak Waters

Paula Patton is divorcing Robin Thicke, despite his many attempts to win back her affections. Patton and Thicke were married in 2005 and have a son together, Julian Fuego Thicke. In February 2014, the duo announced that they were separated after nine years of marriage. It was at that time that media speculation of cheating hit a fever pitch.

Thicke attempted to win Patton back and even named his latest album after her. It wasn’t enough for the couple to avoid a permanent split and Paula Patton filed for divorce from Robin Thicke. She cited their date of separation as February 21st, which was just after they appeared at the Grammy Awards together. In the divorce filing, Patton notes the usual reason as “irreconcilable differences” as the cause for the split. In addition, she is asking the court for joint legal and physical custody of the couple’s son Julian.

Paula Patton filed for divorce from Robin Thicke in Los Angeles court, so whether or not he cheated on her will prove irrelevant. TMZ reports that the couple’s divorce is “harmonious” and there are no real issues at hand that would derail the filing. For his part, Thicke has yet to file a response.

Sources have claimed that Paula has already moved on following her separation from the R & B singer. Reportedly, she moved her new boyfriend Zak Waters into her Calabasas bachelorette pad. A pal close to Patton revealed, “Zak moved in with her a couple of weeks ago. They are very happy together and he treats her how she deserves to be treated.”

Paula Patton’s divorce filing has left her estranged husband “heartbroken” as she has “moved on so quickly”, according to a second source. The spy added, “She is done with him. She does not want anyone talking to her about Robin. She has moved on.”
