Paige Confirmed For WWE 2K15, But Only If You Purchase A Season Pass

WWE Diva Paige will appear in the WWE 2K15 video game, but only for gamers who purchase a Season Pass from Gamestop. Paige’s character is being offered as an exclusive character, which can only be unlocked with the purchase of a $24.99 pass.

On Gamestop’s own preorder page the company offers the following information:

“The 2K Showcase Season Pass brings you more action and excitement from WWE 2K15’s all-new 2K Showcase Mode. Save over 20% on three 2K Showcase Add-On Packs and receive the Exclusive Character Paige! 2K Showcase lets you relive groundbreaking rivalries and matches in this all-new single player campaign told through your gameplay and historic WWE footage!”

WWE 2K15 will hit store shelves on October 28th for Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 and November 18th for Playstation 4 and Xbox One.

Twitter users were immediately peeved by the Paige WWE move:

I can't believe that we can't get Paige in #WWE2K15 unless we pay £20 for a season pass, at this point I'm seriously considering skipping it

Some users pointed out that the season pass is just becoming more expensive as it offers more locked features.

@sXeLeonardo It was 19.99 for 2K14, no Career mode was understandable but this is just bullshit, she should be in the game no matter what.

Although some WWE fans applauded the company for a good business decision that will lead to more Season Pass buyers.

At least one fan was excited enough about the announcement to create the WWE 2K15 cover shot that is featured at the top of this post.

Whatever your stance may be, the reality is that Paige is coming to WWE 2K15, but only if you are willing to pay for play, and I have a feeling plenty of WWE fans will jump at the chance to buy a Season Pass from Gamestop.
