Twitter Facebook LinkedIn Flipboard 0 Luke Skywalker, played by Mark Hamill, will soon again be on board the Millennium Falcon. During a brief interview with Extra, Hamill was asked what it was like to be back on the iconic ship: “Can I say this? Is this out? Yeah, the déjà vu of walking onto the Millennium Falcon again and remembering all these details that they’ve got exactly right from old photographs and old blueprints…I can’t describe the feeling. Even now it seems surreal to me. It seems hard to believe that it’s actually happening.” The only trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens showed us our first glimpse of the Falcon after 30 some years, and people loved it. Hamill then goes on to discuss how nice it is to see George Lucas being happy. He was notoriously stressed out during production of A New Hope, with bad weather conditions, malfunctioning equipment, and financial difficulties. “Seeing [George Lucas] this happy, he’s almost unrecognizable. Because when I was with him [on the original trilogy], he was fretting over all the details, so he didn’t have time to enjoy himself. To seem him in such a good place, it’s thrilling.” The next trailer for the film is to be attached to Avengers: Age of Ultron, being released May 1st, 2015, and will supposedly give us our first look at Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, and Princess Leia. Star Wars: The Force Awakens is being directed by JJ Abrams, and is set for a December 18, 2015 release.
