Mama June Shannon’s relationships with sex offenders has just reached new levels of insanity. As we have previously reported, TLC pulled the plug on the popular show “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo” after it was revealed that Shannon was dating her daughter Anna’s convicted child molester Mark McDaniel.
The network wasted no time in distancing themselves from that monstrous scandal and revealed that Shannon wouldn’t receive pay for the season of which was filmed, but that her children would be paid in full. If you’ve had to ask yourself if things could get any worse for this family, then you may not want to watch “Entertainment Tonight” this evening.
Shannon reveals her second relationship with another sex offender on tonight’s episode of the show and it reveals just how awful this woman really is. Not only did she hook back up with Anna’s molester right after he got out of jail, but she had two daughters with sex offender Michael Anthony Ford.
Mama June Shannon’s sexual relationship with Ford produced two of her daughters, Lauryn and Jessica Shannon. Ford actually served time in prison after being busted on a 2005 episode of the hit show “To Catch A Predator” for sexual exploitation. Shannon revealed, “Jessica and Pumpkin have the same dad, but Jessica’s dad has had nothing to do with her over the years. So, why the hell would I open up that can of worms until today? I lied to my family and told them it was somebody else.”
Shannon said that she met up with McDaniel by complete accident and afterward arranged a meeting for her daughter Anna to confront McDaniel. She said, “I was sitting right there with twelve other people. It was a conversation that she wanted her answers: what happened, why did he leave, you know, if he was her real father. He admitted to her, no. I had already told her that but, you know, she wanted to hear from both sides of the story.”
Shannon added, “I have nothing to hide, I have nothing to lose. I just want, honestly, to tell my side of the story and let’s move on.”
