Kim Kardashian’s Visa Issues Prevent India Visit

Kim Kardashian’s visa issues have reportedly prevented the reality star from entering into India despite the spot being on her promotional trail for her new celebrity fragrance, Fleur Fatale. In essence, Kardashian was setup to appear on the Indian version of “Big Brother” called “Big Boss” and was reportedly paid a whopping $800,000 for the appearance, but had to cancel due to visa problems.

Kardashian’s visa issues didn’t prevent her from touring Australia, but she was scheduled for a visit to India between the land down under and Dubai. She was supposed to be getting paid to do that one episode of their reality show in India, but it had to be cancelled. It’s a real shame that Indians think that Kardashian is that big of a catch to pay her almost a million dollars in order for her to appear on one episode of their famous show.

Kim Kardashian was due to appear on the show in order to help it with its failing ratings and the episode featuring her would show her wearing a traditional sari. Last Monday, the reality star took to her Twitter account to say, “Just touched down in Australia!!! My perfume world tour begins for my new fragrance Fleur Fatale! Next stop India then Dubai! All in 1 week!”

Kim Kardashian’s visa issues were said to be at the root of her cancellation on the show, but some have attributed her issues to be related to her nude photo shoot for “Paper” magazine. Some have said that the ‘powers that be’ in India have reneged in having her appear on a reality show there because it could prove to be in poor taste. These findings have yet to be confirmed and at this point it is just a rumor. Still, we can’t imagine that it would look good for the people of India to have a former porn star turned reality TV actress who just went naked for a magazine appear on one of their most popular television shows. What kind of message would that send?
