Kendall Jenner has already had an incredible 2014. She appeared in various runway shows during Paris Fashion Week and she was featured in photo shoots for both Interview and Vogue.
This week Kendall’s year got even better when famed fashion design Michael Kors threw his support behind her career.
Speaking to E! News, Kors says of Jenner’s work ethic, “I think she’s a strong, powerful, great-looking girl. She’s a real professional.”
As previously reported by Business2Community, Kendall also chose to drop her last name from her business cards, a decision that allows her to distance work from family. Speaking of that decision Kors says, “I love that her card just says Kendall. So she’s not trading on her name and I think she’s going to have a great career.”
There’s no denying that Kendall Jenner is the sister of Kim Kardashian and the daughter of Kris Jenner, but she insists that since dropping her last name, she has booked many additional jobs based on her looks and attitude, and not because of her famous family name. In fact, Kendall during one show asked sister Kim not to show up, fearing that her sister would distract from the show more than she would offer her sisterly support.
When asked about the possibility of working with Kendall Jenner, Michael Kors said that every campaign is like casting a movie, and he needs just the right cast for each shoot or runway show. That comment led her Twitter followers to throw their support behind the model.
In other news, a recent report suggests that Kendall could be the next Victoria’s Secret model.
