Katy Perry says Lenny Kravitz will be her special guest at the Super Bowl halftime show. The “Roar” singer made the announcement during her interview on NBC’s broadcast of the AFC Divisional Playoff game featuring the Baltimore Ravens and the New England Patriots.

Perry told “Today” show co-host Willie Geist, “My first special guest is going to be an incredible rock n roll icon, a guitar god, I’m going to have Lenny Kravitz on the show!”

The full interview will be aired on “Today” this Monday.

“He’s got so much style. He’s the coolest. He’s the King of cool,” she added. “He’s going to make me so much cooler that day.”

Perry also announced Kravitz is her special guest at the Superbowl halftime performance via Twitter.

Meanwhile Perry is reportedly back together with John Mayer. The pair were seen having dinner together at Hollywood’s Tower Bar on Thursday night. The two, who split in February 2014, walked in together to a stunned room.

An eyewitness told Page Six, “Katy Perry and John Mayer walked in together, arm in arm, and the whole room literally fell silent. Even Dimitri Dimitrov, Hollywood’s most famous maitre d’, who has seen everything, and Sunset Tower owner Jeff Klein both stopped mid-sentence when John and Katy arrived, as if they wanted to announce to everyone in Hollywood they are back together.”

The pair were seated at a table next to director and producer Lee Daniels, who was having dinner with Naomi Campbell. Scarlett Johansson, Reese Witherspoon, Clint Eastwood and Dita Von Teese were also at the restaurant.

The Pepsi Super Bowl Halftime Show is the most-watched musical event of the year. Last year more than 115 million viewers in the U.S. tuned in. With that in mind, will she really have time to include a Taylor Swift jab during the performance?

Perry and Kravitz, her special guest, are already working together. She didn’t want to give too much away but teased of the possibility of “American Woman” being included in the performance. She noted, “We are in the process of working it out…we’ll see!”
