Johnny Depp, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Paul Bettany recently went on The Ellen show to promote their new film, Mortdecai, which is an action comedy film based on the book anthology of the same name written by Kyril Bongfiglioli. It just released in theaters on January 23.

While on the show, Ellen had them play a game of “Never have I ever.” The game starts with each person having a sign that says either “I have” or “I have never.” One person then proceeds to read out a statement, to which all of the players must respond saying either they have or haven’t done that particular thing. This goes on for several rounds.

The game started off with a bang, as the first statement Ellen read was “Never have I ever been to a nude beach.” Both Paul Bettany and Johnny Depp responded with “I have” while Ellen and Gwyneth Paltrow said they hadn’t. The next statement, which was “Never have I ever been arrested” received the exact same responses from everyone.

Some statements such as, “Never have I ever gotten a tattoo that I regret” elicited the “I have never” response from everyone. On the other hand, each one of them, including Ellen, said they had joined the “Mile High Club.”

There were many other hilarious statements in the game. Some of the answers were well known and predictable. Others definitely shocked the audience. Check out the full video above to see what else Ellen asked while playing “Never have I ever.”
