Jim Gaffigan announced that, after 5 years of working on making The Jim Gaffigan Show happen, he and his wife, who is his showrunner, have decided to hang it up after season 2.
In a post to his Facebook page, Gaffigan expressed his gratitude to the fans, as well as to TV Land, which broadcasted the show. He noted that the biggest contributing factor to their decision to end the show was that it was taking too much time away from their five children.[facebookpost https://www.facebook.com/JimGaffigan/posts/10154479202694661]
Thanks Jim & Jeannie for quality show and an even classier reason to walk away! Maybe reunion show in 20 yrs like Brady Bunch?

Jim Gaffigan Show is ending on a high note. If you haven't watched the second season, you should.

Re: "The Jim Gaffigan Show" ending – Once again, children ruin everything. Never have them. Read his post to see what I'm riffing on.

The Jim Gaffigan Show will only have two seasons and will have employed more comedians than any other show on tv ever.
