Jessica Biel and husband Justin Timberlake are suing Heat Magazine after the tabloid published allegedly untrue and nasty rumors about the state of their marriage.
Both Biel and Timberlake filed separate defamation lawsuits in the High Court in Dublin.
Paul Tweet, the attorney for both of the stars released the following statement:
“We have issued defamation proceedings [against Germany-based Bauer Media Group] on behalf of our clients, Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel, in relation to an article and a headline in [British tabloid] Heat magazine.”
In the article Heat magazine published an unauthorized picture of the couple and then provided quotes that Biel alleged she never made.
Members of the media are not allowed to report on specific content from the case until the court determines a course of action.
The tabloid is being sued in Ireland because the couple were told a speedier outcome would be reached in that country.
“We are suing in Ireland in relation to publication in all jurisdictions, as our clients are entitled to do,” said Tweed.

Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel have been married for two years. During almost all of their marriage numerous rumors have surfaced about marriage troubles, rumors that have always arrived through “undisclosed sources.” As late as July 2014, rumors were still claiming that Timberlake never got over his ex-girflriend Britney Spears.
In the meantime, Twitter users are standing beside Biel and Timberlake:
